So, the Kosner Baskonia squad is gearing up for the 26/27 season, and boy, do they have some serious changes on their roster! After basking in glory last year by hoisting the Copa del Rey, they’ve decided it’s time to shake things up a bit.

Bye-Bye to the Old Faces

With a whopping eight players saying their goodbyes, it’s like a scene from a basketball soap opera! They’ve trimmed their roster down to just four returnees: Spagnolo, Kurucs, Sedekerskis, and Khalifa Diop. That’s right, ladies and gents, Rafa Villar is taking his talents elsewhere!

But fear not! Baskonia has secured some fresh talent to fill those empty seats. Their first recruit is none other than DJ Stewart, an American player with some serious skills. He earned himself a Macedonian passport during the FIBA windows and is coming in hot from Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana where he had a stellar season, averaging 13.6 points and some solid stats across the board.

Next up is Chris Duarte, a Dominican dynamo who had his first taste of European basketball last season with Unicaja Málaga. He’s been busy gathering his stats with an average of 10.5 points and just enough rebounds to keep things interesting in those 18 minutes a game!
