Jalen Brunson Injured in Loss to Sacramento Kings
Jalen’s Injury Woes
Just when the New York Knicks thought they were getting their squad back on track with Josh Hart’s return, bam! The injury bug struck again. This time, it was Jalen Brunson, who took a nasty tumble in the first quarter, twisting his ankle like a pretzel and leaving him watching the rest of the game from the sidelines.
Game Recap: Knicks vs. Kings
As if losing Brunson wasn’t enough, the Knicks also dropped the game against the Sacramento Kings, finishing up at a not-so-pretty score of 101-112. Mikal Bridges was the lone soldier for the Knicks, dropping 19 points while everyone else seemed to be taking a stroll instead of playing basketball!
Coach’s Frustration
Coach Mike Brown, facing off against his old team, had a night to forget. “We didn’t respond at all. Just… didn’t happen,” he grumbled after the game. One can only imagine the facepalm moments happening on the bench.
Next Stop: Golden State
Now, the Knicks are packing their bags and jetting off to San Francisco to take on none other than the Golden State Warriors, led by none other than Stephen Curry. It’s going to be a tough match, and with a record of 25-15, having only snagged 2 wins out of their last 8 games, they really need to turn things around—or risk turning this season into a comedy of errors!
