Cavs Trade Schröder to the Hornets
The Cleveland Cavaliers have just pulled off a trade, sending the talented Dennis Schröder over to the Charlotte Hornets, according to sources from the ever-reliable ESPN. Such a move raises eyebrows and curiosity alike!
In return, the Cavs welcomed Tre Mann to their roster, a player who could potentially be in his last contract year. Talk about a shake-up!
Schröder’s agent worked closely with the Cavs’ management to help lighten up the financial load on Cleveland’s salary cap. And guess what? They managed to find him a cozy new home with the Hornets, where he’s in friendly company with president Jeff Peterson and coach Charles Lee. They’ve rolled together back when the fun times were had at the Atlanta Hawks.
Since getting traded from Sacramento in late January, Schröder has been averaging a solid 8.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game under the guidance of Kenny Atkinson. Not too shabby, if we say so!
